The Theology of H.O.R.S.E.S. Church

An omni-faith centered on divine union with the One, and the sacred duty of those who care and minister for equines and all that is.

All living things are woven from one unifying godliness — not separate from the divine, but part of it.

  • Every creature is a strand of one continuous sacred fabric.
  • Every act of care for a living being is an act of communion with the whole.
  • H.O.R.S.E.S. Church is established by divine omni-ecclesiastical authority to preach, teach and minister this truth: all people and all things are in mystical union with the One.
“All are the One — ‘SomeOne’ (you) is experientially unique, yet you are fully the One at the same time, simultaneously, while living your individualised life experiences.”

You are…

DivineLove incarnatePerfectLoved

You are so rooted, grounded, infused and entangled with love that Love itself cannot define where you end and the One begins — the mystical union paradox.

Horses carry the divine spark with particular clarity and purity.

Present through all of sacred history

  • At Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem
  • At the fullness of time
  • At the new heavens
  • Lifting and inspiring humanity through every age of struggle and survival

What makes them sacred

Strength held in gentleness, trust freely given, and a long companionship with humankind.

Why we minister

To minister to a horse is to minister to the divine itself — and in truth, the horse ministers to us.

How they heal

Their higher frequency uplifts the human spirit and elevates the lives and health of the wounded and disabled who ride them.

Equines appear throughout scripture and the record of ancient civilizations.

In Scripture

  • Zechariah’s horsemen and colored chariots
  • The Four Horsemen of Revelation
  • The rider upon the white horse
  • Imagery of kingship, strength and judgment

In Human History

  • Agriculture, trade and transportation
  • Warfare and political authority
  • Burials, art and ceremony
  • The spread of civilizations

What It Shows Us

The deep interdependence between humans and other creatures — and our calling to stewardship of creation.

Across thousands of years, horses, donkeys and other equids have served and accompanied humanity, becoming symbols of strength, freedom, nobility, endurance and service.

A promise that runs with the horse. A covenant protects a horse for its entire life.

How a covenant works

  1. A church member makes a solemn promise — a vow to protect and perform — for a horse.
  2. The covenant is recorded and permanently stored in the H.O.R.S.E.S. Church ecclesiastical Registrum.
  3. The promise attaches to the horse itself, not the person.
  4. Every future owner or caretaker is bound to honor it, for the whole of the horse’s life — regardless of their faith or membership.

A covenant does

  • Travel with the horse forever
  • Bind everyone who comes after
  • Stand as a lawful, recorded instrument

A covenant does not

  • Bind the church
  • Bind the member who makes it
  • Force anyone to acquire a covenanted horse

Example

A member may covenant that a horse may never leave the USA or be sold for human consumption.

The well-being of humans and horses is closely connected — caring for one means caring for both.

Protecting horses

  • Humane treatment and proper care
  • Safe environments
  • Responsible ownership
  • Respect for their physical and behavioral needs

Protecting humanity

  • Safe, respectful interactions with animals
  • Education in responsible equine care
  • Communities where people and animals thrive

What our ministry looks like

Care must be both compassionate and responsible — never romanticizing horses at the expense of proper veterinary, nutritional or safety needs, and never overlooking human needs along the way.
